The Resilience Compass is a series of books exploring different directional approaches to building resilience in challenging times. Each book offers a unique lens for developing cognitive flexibility, historical perspective, and the ability to hold opposing viewpoints with compassion.

Begin your journey with "The World is Always Never Ending" (West), which examines recurring cycles of fear, moral panic, and societal anxiety throughout history, offering context and hope for our current challenges.

The No Man's Land Experience

Each book in the series features unique "No Man's Land" sections that invite you to practice holding opposing viewpoints simultaneously, creating space for cognitive flexibility and reducing polarization by showing the humanity in different perspectives.

About the Author

Author Karina Vunnam

Karina Vunnam is an author, entrepreneur, and Stanford Economics graduate whose extraordinary journey from Mumbai's streets to Silicon Valley informs her unique perspective on resilience and human potential.

Born in Mumbai and adopted at age seven, Karina's early experiences with profound loss and adaptation laid the foundation for her lifelong exploration of resilience. Her children's book series Mumbai Street Siblings honors this chapter of her life while her Resilience Compass series for adults offers practical frameworks for navigating life's complexities.

Each direction of The Resilience Compass explores a different dimension of modern resilience: building internal validation, engaging mindfully with technology, maintaining momentum regardless of emotional weather, and finding perspective through historical patterns.

When not writing, Karina develops apps focused on mindful communication and digital wellbeing, creates music, and lives in Menlo Park with her husband and their beloved goldendoodle, Hobbes.
